Short version: some tour links pay us, and nothing else does.
Some links to tours and experiences on this site are affiliate links to GetYourGuide. If you book through one, we receive a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the only way this site earns.
What it does not change: we do not print tour prices, because they move daily and a stale price is worse than none. We do not add a tour card to a page that has no good products behind it – and where the available products are not quite what the page is about, such as Hakone, the cards say so. We have no affiliate relationship with any rail operator, pass reseller, eSIM provider or luggage company mentioned anywhere on this site, and the JR Pass page concludes against buying a pass on most of our routes.
